25 Years of IGS Ionosphere Committee – Current Status and Path Forward

At 10:00 a.m. on July 21, 2025, in the Medium Conference Room on the 3rd Floor, Prof. Andrzej Krankowski, Chair of the IGS Ionosphere Committee, will give a talk titled "25 Years of IGS Ionosphere Committee – Current Status and Path Forward."

Prof. Andrzej Krankowski is a professor at the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn, Poland; Director of the UWM Space Radio-Diagnostics Research Center; and head of the Lomkowko Satellite Observatory. He is a member of the Governing Board of the International GNSS Service (IGS), Chair and Product Coordinator of the IGS Ionosphere Working Group, and Chairman of the Polish Low-Frequency Array (POLFAR) consortium, representing Poland on the Council of the International LOFAR Telescope (ILT). He has long been devoted to GNSS ionospheric modeling and forecasting, and has led numerous ionospheric research projects, including the European Space Agency (ESA)-funded projects "INSPIRE," "Monitor 2," and "INTIMOD."
